Celebrate Benevolence Night at Dogfish Head and Raise a Glass for the Inland Bays!

You can help the Inland Bays, and celebrate the last day of winter, on Wednesday, March 19th from 5-9pm at Dogfish Head Restaurant, 320 Rehoboth Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

In December, the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays won Dogfish Head Beer’s Beer and Benevolence Award in the environmental category for their winning one-minute video showing what they do for the environment in Sussex County.  The video can be viewed at inlandbays.org   Now, Dogfish Head has challenged the three winners of the Beer and Benevolence competition with a chance to win an additional $1000 that will go to the organization that can bring out the most people to celebrate.

“We’ve heard that the other groups brought out a lot of people, so we’re asking everyone to grab friends and family (kids too!) and come out for dinner and/or drinks.  Who couldn’t use a night out with the winter we’ve had!” said Jenn Jones, Development Coordinator for the CIB.

The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays is a non-profit organization established in 1994 to promote the wise use and enhancement of the Inland Bays and its watershed.  With its many partners, the CIB conducts public outreach and education, develops and implements restoration projects, encourages scientific inquiry and sponsors research.
