Journey Up the Coast: An In-Person Exploration of the Inland & Coastal Bays

The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and the Maryland Coastal Bays Program (MCBP) are excited to offer “Journey Up the Coast: An In-Person Exploration of the Inland and Coastal Bays” for children ages 8-12 this summer! This unique education program will include a series of fun, interactive activities focused on topics such as watersheds, estuaries, and wildlife, guided by the Center and MCBP environmental educators. It will take place outdoors at the James Farm Ecological Preserve located at 30048 Cedar Neck Road, Ocean View, DE 19970.

This program is free, but registration is required. To reserve your young learner’s spot, please register by June 1, 2021, at tinyurl.com/JUTCRegistration. If you would like to participate as a group (such as a club, class, family, etc.), a separate registration form is required for each individual participant. An email containing additional information and registration form(s) will be distributed closer to the program date.

There are two date options for the program. When registering, please select ONLY ONE option. Each day is formatted the same.

Option 1: Monday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Rain date: June 24)
Option 2: Tuesday, June 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Rain date: June 25)

This program is FREE, but donations are greatly appreciated and will help support Center and MCBP educational programming. Donations can also be accepted on the day of in the form of a check made out to “Delaware Center for the Inland Bays” with “JUTC” written in the memo line.
