CCMP Revised Draft
Thank you for your help as we complete the revision of the CCMP!
What is the CCMP?
The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays (the Center) is a National Estuary Program focused on promoting the wise use and enhancement of the Inland Bays watershed. This is accomplished by overseeing and implementing the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP). The CCMP documents goals and activities that the Center and its partners agreed to address based on scientific data and input from key stakeholders and the community. The Center uses the CCMP to direct and carry out activities that protect and enhance the Inland Bays. The original CCMP was created in 1995 and updated in 2012.
Thank you for providing comments!
It has been 25 years since the Center adopted the 1995 CCMP and much has changed in the watershed since then. The Center and its partners have been engaged in a three-year process to revise the original 1995 CCMP for the first time. After engaging subject matter experts, community leaders, key stakeholders, and the public, the Center finally has a draft revised CCMP. After inviting public comment on the goals, objectives, and activities that will guide the work of the Center and its partners for the next 10 years during a 60-day public comment period, the Center is currently reviewing that input. Stay tuned for more information.
